We live here.
We plan like it.
The Rayar Way is a small New Zealand travel studio based in Glen Eden, Auckland. We build journeys for travellers who want the country, not a coach schedule.
That means knowing which lookout beats the crowds, which lodge actually suits a family, and where to find a proper vegetarian dinner in the middle of nowhere. It also means answering the phone when a flight changes.

Questions, answered.
Still unsure? Send us a message — we would rather answer honestly than sell you the wrong trip.
All FAQsIs The Rayar Way a registered New Zealand business?
Yes. We are an Auckland-based New Zealand travel business, operating from Glen Eden. We work with established accommodation and activity partners across the country and can provide our company details on request.
Can you arrange vegetarian, Jain or Indian meals?
Yes — this is one of the reasons overseas agents and Indian travellers work with us. We plan vegetarian, Jain and Indian-friendly dining into the itinerary, including in remote regions where options are limited. There is no extra planning fee for this.
Do you help with visas?
We do not act as immigration advisers, but we can point you to the official NZeTA and visitor visa process and build your itinerary around your travel dates. We recommend applying well before booking flights.
What if the weather changes plans?
New Zealand weather moves fast. We build flexible days into every itinerary and monitor conditions while you travel. If a walk or flight is cancelled, we rebook where possible — that is what local support is for.
